Nearly 21 years after Brian Randall Shaffer disappeared from Columbus, Ohio, the mystery surrounding the Ohio State University medical student remains unsolved, with authorities and those who continue to follow the case still seeking answers.

The agency lists his current age as 47, with brown hair, hazel eyes, a height of approximately 6 feet 2 inches and a distinctive Pearl Jam tattoo on his upper right arm.
